01The challenge
No identity to apply.
A day-and-night supplement pair from a psychologist with a real audience but no visual identity behind her. The project started as brand identity and was narrowed to packaging only — which meant the two bottles had to do the entire job of the brand, with nothing above them to inherit from.
On top of that, the supplement category defaults to clinical white and stock leaf iconography. Looking like everything else on the shelf was the fastest way to disappear.

02The approach
One object, split in two.
Since there was no identity to apply, I built a self-contained system inside the packaging itself: palette, type, and a graphic device that repeats across both SKUs: a toggle that flips from ON to OFF. The two work as one object split in two — same structure, same typographic scale, opposite temperature.
Warm orange for day, deep violet for night, so the pair reads as a single decision when they sit side by side and each bottle is still unambiguous when a customer picks up only one. Against a category of clinical white and leaf icons, I went bold: full-wrap gradients and a name you can read across the room.

03The result
The packaging carries the brand.
